Once upon a time, there was a legendary Shark who used to roam the waters of the business world. His ruthless approach to business was well known, and he struck fear in the hearts of all his competitors. “Oh no!” they would cry out, “we should withdraw our proposition, the Shark will get them!” It was even once claimed that his client's competitors referred to him as You Know Who – although we cannot confirm this.
Despite the Shark’s efficient and clear business strategies, our tale now turns to woe. His sharp teeth and deadly forcefulness scared clients, and so the Shark always lost them soon after he caught them. “If only I was more loyal and able to build lasting relationships,” the Shark mumbled to himself in despair, “and then I wouldn’t be so alone.”
Then there was the Dog, who was having a similarly hard time. Being the friendliest dog in the animal kingdom, the Dog was excellent at building relationships with customers and everyone adored him. However, he lacked a savage business instinct, and so couldn't find any new clients.
Now Josh enters our story. Josh was a good friend of both the Dog and the Shark, and he felt sorry that both of them were having trouble in the business world. He knew he wanted to help, so he put his thinking hat on and got to work.
The solution was simple - he should introduce the Shark to the Dog! Josh knew the Shark could hunt down customers but he couldn’t keep them, and that the dog could build lasting relationships, but couldn't secure business.
And in that moment SharkDog was born.
The Shark hunts down the customers and the dog keeps them loyal. It’s a match made in animal heaven.
